Abstract(in English) | We examined the possibility of error judgment of heart rate variability using the degree of concentration of the power spectrum (Hsi) of the pulse wave measured by the wrist watch type wearable photoelectric pulse wave sensor. 2 healthy men (23 yr, 40 yr) were wearing a pulse wave sensor on left wrist and left forearm, and the sensor was wrapped bandage several times from above the pulse wave sensor to prevent external light intrusion. Protocol of the pulse wave measurement was standing1 (10 minutes) - sitting (15minutes) - standing2 (5 minutes). Hsi was significantly higher on the forearm than in the wrist (p <0.0001). In addition, Hsi was significantly higher in the sitting with less body movement than standing (p <0.0001). Hsi is a very useful index as it is calculated by only pulse waves and it is standardized value. It is suggested that Hsi may be an index of error judgment of heart rate variability. |
