Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Due to individual differences such as knowledge level, it is essential that we provide personalized user interfaces (UIs) that well suit the user. The purpose of this study was to reveal elements of information-giving which should be personalized according to the user's knowledge level in solving an ICT problem. We found that an interactive UI which shows the explanation of the technical term when the user taps was preferred regardless of knowledge level. We also found that function was preferred as the explanation of the technical term regardless of knowledge level. The results suggest that, when giving information visually, these elements which we evaluated should not be personalized according to knowledge level.
