Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Many teaching materials on Chinese pronunciation and electronic teaching materials are focused on imitation exercises of simple Chinese conversation. However, it is easy to discourage the training of elements called "tone", which is important in semantic communication in Chinese. For this reason, incorrect pronunciation wears, progress of learning is often stalled. Therefore, in order to solve these problems, we are developing a learning application of tone that emphasizes on correctly acquiring "tone" by following the order which is missing in the past teaching materials. This application uses a collection of sensing problems that are thought to be effective for the learning of four kinds of Chinese tone words that were created based on the sensing experiments we conducted. In this paper, we describe the effectiveness of our application by evaluating the improvement of tonal pronunciation ability by using general Chinese teaching materials and the sensory training application developed by us. |
