Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In reconstruction of X-ray computed tomography (CT), although scattered X-rays contain information on objects, they have generally been removed by various techniques because they cause artifacts. If scattered X-rays have information independent of direct X-rays, it can be expected that reconstruction accuracy is improved by using the information. In this paper, we simplified as much as possible the CT geometry that has rotation scanning beforehand. Then based on the Monte Carlo simulation, we conducted numerical experiments to confirm accuracy improvement of a method that use both direct and scattered X-rays.
