Abstract(in English) | Recently, Society 5.0, which highly integrates cyberspace and physical space, has been proposed to provide a new social system yielding less social inequality and more economic growth. Wireless communication networks play more important role in Society 5.0, and an ultra-Big Data creation Driver (BDD) composed of local access systems and a backbone access system has been developed to collect vast array of data from the area of tens of kilometers. In the BDD, a multi-hop Wireless Regional Area Network (WRAN) system consisting of a large number of Relay Stations (RSs) is applied to the backbone access system, and each RS collects data in its local area in which the amount of generated data constantly changes. Meanwhile, available radio resources for the entire system are limited and thus, it is necessary to allocate radio resources flexibly and optimally to each multi-hop link. In this paper, we propose a radio resource allocation algorithm for the multi-hop WRAN system and a routing algorithm enabling automatic selection of optimum wireless link based on sensing information about neighboring RSs. Finally, we demonstrate the practicality of the proposed algorithms by computer simulation and experiment with actual radio equipment. |
