Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Gaze information is important when human draws lines accurately. On the other hand, in order to compensate feedback delay of visual information, it is considered that optimal feedback control and feedforward control are concurrently used for the arm control. In this study, we hypothesized that the tendency of the probability of saccade generation becomes high after the pen has passed over the high curvature position of the desired path reflects the fact that the strategy changes from feedforward control to feedback control. To investigate this hypothesis, we conducted a measurement experiment of tracing trajectory under various conditions such as the duration of tracing movement. As a result, it turned out that the tendency of saccade generation frequency becomes stronger when the time for drawing duration time is longer, and it supported the hypothesis. This tendency was seen more frequently in subjects with a smaller tracing error. It is suggested that such eye movement pattern may contribute to improvement of the accuracy of the tracing movement.
