Experimental Study of User Collaborated Reception Using PCM and AF Inter-terminal Communications Exploiting Higher-Frequency Bands

Abstract(in English) Multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) systems with precoding have been studied intensively. However, those systems have feedback delay that causes severe performance degradation. To cope with this problem, an MU-MIMO system using a collaborative interference cancellation (CIC) scheme is proposed. In this scheme, received signal sharing among collaborated mobile stations is employed. In this paper, PCM and amplify and forward (AF) are employed for inter-terminal communications. And CIC employing LDPC code and frequency-domain iterative equalization to improve the performance of MIMO transmission is studied.
