Abstract(in English) | Channel impulse response measurements are important in wireless system design. A software-defined radio equipment (PC-SDR) of a type that realizes wireless signal processing by combining a personal computer and A/D D/A converters has high flexibility and it is useful if it can measure the radio channel impulse response. However, in the PC-SDR environment, a latency associated with signal processing on the PC and a latency associated with data transmission between the PC and the radio peripheral exist, respectively, and the delay time varies depending on conditions. If the measurements are performed without considering the influence of the latency, the measurement results are not reliable. This paper proposes a method of synchronizing the transmission signal and the received signal based on the peak position of the cross correlation value between the baseband signal and the demodulated signal by using of M-sequences. To validate the proposed method, a channel impulse response measurement of a T-connector equipped with a coaxial cable open stub is performed in the 927 MHz band by combining M-sequences and time stretched pulses (TSP). The TSP signal is a proven technology in the field of acoustic system measurements. |
