Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A software FMEA/HAZOP process, which the authors have proposed, applies modifier words in the dictionary instead of HAZOP guide words to properties of object, event, and relation words in system requirements, external or internal designs, or operation processes described in the natural language. From the results of HAZOP process, analysts can imagine situations that the system under consideration shows abnormal behaviors, and they can study countermeasures to them. In order to generate the expressions which describe failure modes, at the first step, we need to extract simple sentences from technical documents. In this paper, we propose the method based on Japanese unification grammar to extract simple sentences from technical documents to generate sentences which describe the failure modes.
