Abstract(in English) This paper compares differential space-time coding (DSTC) schemes employing channel prediction for fast time-varying channels. It is well-known that DSTC schemes are one of joint detection (JD) schemes, which perform channel estimation and data detection simultaneously. However, there exist a few reports with respect to comparison on these DSTC schemes. At first, this paper shows that JD is a good transmission technology for fast time-varying channels. Next, this paper compares DSTC schemes with channel prediction, e.g., differential encoding (DE), differential space-time block coding (DSTBC) and differential space-time trellis coding (DSTTC), where demodulation schemes are per-survivor processing and decision-feedback detection. Finally, this paper compares computer simulation results and computational complexity of these DSTC schemes.
