Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a circuit scale of CSD (Canonic Signed Digit) coefficient FIR (Finite Impulse Response)filters is verified. In order to reduce the circuit scale of FIR filters, it is effective to decrease the number of nonzero digits using the CSD representation. However, a relationship between the number of nonzero digits and the circuit scale in a hardware implementation is unknown. Therefore, the circuit scale of CSD coefficient FIR Filters is verified using FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) development tool.
