Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This work provides game theoretic and stochastic geometry analysis of millimeter-wave (mmWave) radio access network (RAN) sharing. A sharing scenario is considered where mobile network operators (MNOs) mutually share their base stations (BSs) such that users of one MNO can be associated with mmWave BSs of any other MNOs. This work evaluates how the amount of bandwidth to be allocated to users at shared BSs can affect the coverage. Since MNOs are competitive in nature and the total bandwidth at each BS is fixed, there is a necessity for MNOs to negotiate on the amount of bandwidth. A bandwidth bargaining game is formulated. By using evolutionary game theory to model the subscription of users, the feasible region of bandwidth allocation is mapped to the feasible region of market share, which enables MNOs to negotiate bandwidth allocation based on the mapped region of the market share. The Nash bargaining solution is considered as a solution.
