| Abstract(in English) | The Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen train radio system had been changed from the analog system to the digital system in order from 2002, and there is a plan to replace the next several years later. We introduce wireless communication technologies for the future Shinkansen train radio system. One technology is LCX-MIMO, which enables high-speed wireless data transmission with LCX (leaky coaxial cable) communication system. Another technology is O-SDR, which enables quick switching between existing Shinkansen train radio system and future Shinkansen train radio system and between high-speed communication and high-reliability communication. In this paper, we show the performance of LCX-MIMO and O-SDR evaluated by the field investigations. |
