A Consideration on Video Viewer's Emotion Estimation based on the correlation between Nasal Skin Temperature and Heart Rate Variability

Abstract(in English) In order to estimate the video viewers’ emotion, we consider the effectiveness of nasal skin temperature, and estimate emotion by using it. First, we apply principal component analysis to the dataset with and without nasal skin temperature, and classify them based on the principal component score by using k-means clustering. The result shows that nasal skin temperature is effective in classifying emotions. Next, we analyze nasal skin temperature and heart rate based on the analysis of their correlation and inclination. The result shows that it can identify the scene raising some specific emotion, which suggests the possibility of emotion estimation by using nasal skin temperature.
