Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It has gradually become important to skillfully understand the results and circumstances of the search, and to accumulate those achievements along with the sophistication of Web search. However, the number of Web pages involved with the exploration becomes enormous as the search progresses. Therefore, it is often difficult to accurately grasp the latest search situation and to reflect it for building the search policy in next challenge. In this research, we were aiming at developing support methods for promoting consideration of such search policy. Initially, we developed a method to extract the relationships between pages by analyzing browsing history that becomes large-scaled and diversified as work progresses. We also developed a method to extract the group of existing noteworthy pages by using the extracted relationships. Furthermore, we develop a method to suggest the properties of unknown pages in the form in which a searcher can understand them under comparing with the noteworthy group of obtained pages. Consequently, these methods enable novel support for grasping “What a searcher should focus on at the latest moment.”
