Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a new method for selecting millimeter wave access points (mmWave APs) in order to realize high speed wireless communications in a passenger car of high speed train, and report the experiment results of the proposed method in the passenger car with 60GHz band mmWave APs. The proposed method selects the mmWave AP by the ratio of beam allocation. We evaluated the proposed method with multiple mmWave APs in the passenger car by measuring the radio quality distribution per seat etc. The experiment results show that the proposed method is more effective than the traditional AP selection method by only signal quality. The median of throughput at some seats improves by maximum 40% when seats of a passenger car is full and several people stand up in the passenger car. |
