Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the progress of digital technology such as AI, it is obvious that social needs for IT human resources will increase in future. Not only students in science but students in humanity needs to acquire programming literacy. However, students in humanity have few opportunities to learn about programming, and tend to have a feeling of being bad at programming. Therefore, the aim of this research is to propose “Hacksprint” which is a learning method that provides fun learning programming opportunities for programming beginners. Features of the method are (1) using visual programming language “Scratch”, (2) pair programming between beginners and experts, (3) Hackathon-based but in a short time (180min). A practice shows that the method decreases bad feeling of students for programming, and increases students’ interest for programming. The results also show that not only beginners of programming but also experienced people could learn.
