| 抄録(和) | 木構造手法は, 目的変数に対し何等かの基準でこの目的変数に関与する説明変数を再帰的に分割しながら判別モデルを構築する統計的手法である。この木構造は最終的には，if-then形式のプロダクションルールに整理できる。一方古典的ラフ集合理論を統計的に解釈したSTRIM(Statistical Test Rule Induction Method)によるif-thenルール導出法が提案され，その正当性と古典的ラフ集合理論によるルール導出性能との差異や関係を，データ発生・ルール導出検証モデルで考察している。本研究は，木構造手法もif-thenルール導出法の一つであるという立場から，木構造モデル発展の出発点となっているCART法をデータ発生・ルール導出検証モデルに適用して，そのルール導出性能の特性と問題点を考察している。更にこれを実データに適用した一例を示すと共に，従来のSTRIMとも性能比較している。 |
| 抄録(英) | A conventional tree based method is a statistical method of constructing a classification model while recursively dividing a dataset based on explanatory variables relating to their response variable with some criteria for the response variable. Finally, this tree structure induces a lot of if-then rules with production forms. On the other hand, we proposed an if-then rule induction method based on STRIM (Statistical Test Rule Induction Method) which statistically interpreted the classical rough set theory, and studied the validity of STRIM based on a simulation model for data generation and verification of induced rules and the differences and/or relationships between the rule induction performances by the classical and STRIM. In this paper, the CART (Classification And Regression Trees) method which is a basic method of the tree based method is also studied based on the simulation model and its performance and problems are clarified by comparing with those of STRIM. Furthermore, both methods are applied to a real-world dataset and their performances and comparisons are considered in line with the results of the simulation. |
