Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The e-learning system is introduced by many educational institutions because it has less time and space constraints. In recent years, by popularization of tablet PCs and smartphones, making it possible to view e-learning with smartphones. On the other hand, in the e-learning system, unlike face-to-face lectures, learners has no tension and stimulation, so it is difficult to maintain motivation for learning. Therefore, in this research, we develop the e-learning system that HMD type VR using the features of smartphones. The system can share the VR environment that can freely move and observe the 3D virtual environment using the gyro sensor of the smartphone. In this paper, we describe the design and prototype system of e-learning system. The Learners observe physical experiments by VR and share with other learners and teacher, they get strong immersive feeling and presence.
