| 抄録(和) | 「重み付き詰め込み問題」とは，与えられた容量制約を満たすように要素を取捨選択し，取ると決めた要素の重みの総和を最大化する問題である．本講演では，各要素の重みが既知の範囲で確率的に変動し，クエリすることによってその値が確定するような状況を考える．そのような状況を，整数線形計画問題の変種として定式化し，少ないクエリ回数で良い解を高確率で得るアルゴリズムの枠組みと，その性能評価手法を提案する．さらに，マッチング系統，マトロイド系統，安定集合系統などの様々な問題設定に対し，提案手法の適用結果を評価する．本講演は，SODA 2018で発表された内容に基づいている． |
| 抄録(英) | We consider a stochastic variant of the packing-type integer linear programming problem, which contains random variables in the objective vector. We are allowed to reveal each entry of the objective vector by conducting a query, and the task is to find a good solution by conducting a small number of queries. We propose a general framework of adaptive and non-adaptive algorithms for this problem, and provide a unified methodology for analyzing the performance of those algorithms. We also demonstrate our framework by applying it to a variety of stochastic combinatorial optimization problems such as matching, matroid, and stable set problems. This talk is based on the authors' paper that appeared in Proceedings of the 29th Annual ACM-SIAM Symposium on Discrete Algorithms (SODA 2018). |
