| Abstract(in English) | In Japan, in recent years, manpower shortage of network engineers work in the IT markets is a big problem. Network engineers often study network building exercises. Therefore, creating network building exercises to train network engineers would solve the manpower shortage of network engineers in the future. The purpose of this research is to understand VirtualBox, FreeBSD and open source software network simlator IMUNES, and to create exercises using IMUNES. First, FreeBSD and IMUNES was installed on VirtualBox. Next, exercises suitable for IMUNES were made by referring to the exercises of Network Visualizer used in classwork. The difference between IMUNES and Network Visualizer is that there are some commands executable on Network Visualizer can not be used on IMUNES, the configuration isn’t save on IMUNES. To solve these problems, the structure of IMUNES is surveyed. IMUNES and the exercises are used in the class. A questionnaire survey was done to assess the exercises. |
