[Special Talk] Secondary use of satellite communication antenna as radio telescope

Abstract(in English) An antenna with 32 m in diameter, which was used for Intelsat satellite communication in KDDI Yamaguchi Satellite Communication Station, is now used as a radio telescope. The history and the research of the Yamaguchi 32 m radio telescope is reported. In addition, another antenna with diameter of 34 m also used for radio astronomy since 2016 is memtioned.
