Abstract(in English) Narrow pitch multifiber connectors are investigated using 80 μm cladding diameter with 125 μm outer diameter fibers. In order to establish the design method of the narrow pitch multi-fiber optical connector, it is necessary to specify the cause of the connection loss. We analyzed the influence on the connection loss distribution for the deviation of the guide pin and the guide hole, the clearance between the fiber and the fiber hole and their design position. In this report, we tried the Monte-Carlo simulation based on various condition about the narrow pitch multifiber connectors.
