Abstract(in English) | In order to realize battery-less wireless sensor networks, Wireless Power Transfer-based Sensor Networks(WPT-SNs)are being actively studied. In WPT-SNs, sensors operate with the energy transfered by power supply unit. In our study, we focus on a WPT-SN where a sink node and a power supply unit are installed into a drone. In WPT-SN, nodes can run out of energy, which make them impossible to operate until a power supply unit charges them. Hence, in this paper, we propose a multi-hop data collection strategy using a drone for WPT-SN where nodes can be inoperative, and evaluate the network performance when employing the proposed strategy with computer simulations. Specifically, we study charging and data collection strategies for WPT-SN by simulating different charging schemes and clustering patterns for data collections. |
