Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A non-contact acoustic inspection method was investigated to measure from 5-33 m away and detect internal defects (up to 10 cm in depth) of concrete structures using a long range acoustic device and a laser Doppler vibrometer. An algorithm has proposed to detect internal defects of concrete by combining two acoustic features, vibration energy ratio and spectral entropy obtained by our measurement. However, in an actual concrete structure, it is difficult to distinguish a boundary between a healthy part and a defective part due to influences such as shape of internal defect, aged deterioration and surface condition of concrete. Therefore, we propose a method to statistically evaluate the distribution of healthy part of concrete and extract a healthy part and identify a defective part. In this study, we investigated a case that vibration energy due to the defect is not so different as to the vibration energy of a healthy part of concrete. Using healthy part extraction algorithm for concrete, a healthy part of concrete was identified and evaluated statistically. Applying this algorithm to a circular peeling defect, a defective part was separated from a healthy part and defect was visualized well.
