| Abstract(in English) | Japan is a country that is prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons. Disaster prevention measures such as evacuation drills and hazard maps have been recommended for minimizing the damages. However, these are mainly developed for local residents. Although there are few disaster prevention measures targeting for tourists, international tourists are often ignored. Since the number of international tourists visiting Japan has increased in recent years, disaster management measures for international tourists are necessary. The purposes of this system is to offer opportunities for international tourists acquiring knowledge related to natural disasters that they may encounter while staying in Japan in an enjoyable format. To achieve the purposes, this system incorporates the following three measures: (1) providing information related to disaster preventions using comic expressions, (2) including quizzes on disaster prevention, and (3) visualizing the number of correct and incorrect answers for each quiz. This paper discusses the overview and the evaluation experiment of this system. |
