| Abstract(in English) | Traffic accidents of elderly drivers are becoming a social problem. In order to take measures effectively to prevent road accidents by elderly drivers, it is necessary to grasp characteristics of driving of elderly drivers and characteristics of accidents. In this study, we developed a driving simulator to specify driving behavior and visual objects, set several traffic scenes, and examined the difference in driving behavior between the elderly and the non-elderly. As a result of the experiment, several dangerous driving behaviors were observed in the elderly. |
