Abstract(in English) | Presentation slides are an effective way to deliver information in various fields. It has become easier to create slides due to the advancement of presentation software such as PowerPoint. However, it is still difficult for novices to design slides that are easy to understand as few slide evaluation methods exist, and we cannot objectively judge the quality of our slides. In this paper, new slide dataset is constructed by collecting 1,000 slides and giving clarity evaluation using ranking method. In addition, we generate clarity score and heat map which shows areas to be improved as objective feedback by learning the clarity of the slide design using a convolutional neural network. We conducted a user study and confirmed the effectiveness and problems of support for slide improvement by score and heat map. |
