Use of Homomorphic Encryption for Secret Person Re-identification

Abstract(in English) In this paper, We propose a person re-identification method during cameras with homomorphic encryption. homomorphic encryption has the advantage that the capable of calculating the inner product without decryption, and we expect this advantage makes our proposed method confidentiality strongly. But, the features using in person re-identification in general are expressed with decimal. However, we can encrypt only the feature expressed in integer with homomorphic encryption. Therefore, we convert features from decimal to integer with quantizing the features. From result, we demonstrated decreasing in accuracy within three points when in person re-identification with three datasets and original dataset, we quantize the feature with homomorphic encryption.
