Abstract(in English) Since 1990 's, the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology has developed airborne synthetic aperture radar (airborne SARs) Pi-SAR / Pi-SAR2, and has developed technology to analyze SAR data. In this presentation, the history of sea surface phenomena observation by Pi-SAR / Pi-SAR2 is summarized with the future prospect.
