Abstract(in English) | This paper shows that previously proposed Maximum A-posteriori Probability (MAP) detection based on differential detector is a valid method in the presence of carrier frequency offset between Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) terminals for Independent Component Analysis (ICA) based-Spatial Division Multiple Access (SDMA) in BLE systems. In the BLE specification, preambles embedded in BLE packets are not orthogonal each other. For realization of SDMA in BLE systems, ICA is capable of separating spatially multiplexed signals without orthogonal pilot signals. In the presence of carrier frequency offset between BLE terminals, ICA suffers from an issue of time-variant phase rotation. To deal with this problem, MAP detection based on differential detector achieves better performance than that by phase compensation using the preamble. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of the proposed method in terms of the packet error rate (PER). |
