Side band selection for cancellation of periodic interference

Abstract(in English) Electric vehicles are gradually becoming popular. In principle, electric vehicles generate no hazardous materials such as a carbon dioxide. However, the circuits emit undesired electromagnetic wave (Interference). Therefore, it is very important to take a measure against the interference. This paper proposes a new technique to mitigate all interference with only a receive-antenna. The proposed technique cancels the undesired signal by making use of the fact that all frequency band is not fully occupied by the spectrum of the broadcasting systems. On the other hand, the proposed canceller achieves such superior performance to use optimum frequency band. A side band selection technique suitable for the canceller is proposed. The computer simulation reveals the performance of the proposed technique. The proposed technique has superior performance of interference suppression with only a receive-antenna. Therefore, the proposed technique can select side band that has high ability of suppression.
