Abstract(in English) A spindle using an ultrasonic transducer is used to precisely process hard brittle materials such as hard ceramics or difficult-to-machine materials such as the semiconductor or magnetic materials. In this research, we propose a performance improvement method for the series-parallel combined resonant circuit using asymmetric rotary transformer used for ultrasonic spindle drive. The effectiveness and validity of the proposed performance improvement method are confirmed from analysis and experimental evaluations.
