Abstract(in English) We conducted a demonstration experiment to visualize the number of mountaineers who use Gotemba trail to get to the top of Mt. Fuji from August 10 through September 10, 2017. To conduct the demonstration experiment, we developed a counter that has a communication function using LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) and a visualization system that can check the number of mountaineers on the Internet. We constructed a service area of LoRaWAN around Gotemba trail new 5th station, and we measured the number of mountaineers and moving directions of them. The result of demonstration experiment visualized a present situation of tourists who visit to Mt. Fuji for sightseeing instead of ascending it.
