Traffic Distribution Scheme based on Real-Coded Genetic Algorithm in Heterogeneous Network

Abstract(in English) Processing data traffic in multiple wireless networks improves the user throughput in heterogeneous networks (HetNets). We have proposed a traffic distribution scheme based on the map information that consists of the loaded traffic and the channel quality information of macro and micro cells. However, the loaded traffic information and time varying real data traffic are not always the same. Then, the determining traffic dispersing ratio based on heuristic methods more improves the user throughput to correspond to the time variation of loaded traffic. With this motivation, this paper proposes the determining traffic distribution ratio based on real-coded genetic algorithm (RCGA). Computer simulation shows the improvement of average user throughput by 50 % and the effectiveness of the proposed method.
