Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Traveling wave segments in excitable media can be developed into spiral or spatio-temporal chaos. Katsumata $ et al. $ proposed a PI controller which stabilizes a traveling wave segment [H. Katsumata $ et al $., Phys. Rev. E (2017)]. The present report investigates robustness of the wave segment with PI control. We focus on the situation where the controlled waves with a desired width run into an obstacle. This obstacle is the area with low diffusion coefficient. We numerically investigate the relation between the wave behavior and the obstacle parameters. |
