A Study on Fast SPFD Method Based on Subgrid Method and Postprocessing

Abstract(in English) In recent years, there has been concern in adverse health effect of electromagnetic fields. Induced electric field is used as a metric for human protection from low frequency to intermediate frequency field exposure although biological effect in that frequency band. From low frequency to intermediate frequency, such as fields from IH cooking hob, wireless power transfer system etc are also of interest. The development of dosimetric techniques for safety evaluation is thus needed. This study proposes a fast and high-precision computational analysis of internal electric field in biological tissues by scalar-potential finite-difference method cooperating with a subgrid scheme. We then discuss the accuracy of induced field and the speedup of calculation by postprocessing for uniform magnetic field exposure.
