Abstract(in English) We investigated how the position of the Josephson junction on the base Nb layer influence the modulation characteristics of a Josephson current when the perpendicular magnetic field Hz is applied to the Josephson junction because some Josephson junction were fabricated on the base Nb layer in our sample. The junction on the center of the base Nb layer is not easily affected by the perpendicular magnetic field Hz because of Meissner effect of the base Nb layer, whereas the junction on the edge of the base Nb layer is susceptible to the perpendicular magnetic field Hz. We investigated the base Nb layer positional dependency of modulation characteristics of Josephson current by applying the parallel magnetic field (Hx, Hy) and the perpendicular magnetic field Hz.
