Abstract(in English) | Surface plasmon polariton modes supported in a metal/dielectric interface enable the localization of light beyond the diffraction limit and are useful to develop ultra-small light emitting devices. We realized a high-quality plasmonic microring resonator composed of an atomically-flat metal surface (important for low optical loss) and a GaAs microring embedding InAs/GaAs self-assembled quantum dots. With this plasmonic structure, we observed plasmonic laser oscillation, the Purcell effect and single photon generation from a single quantum dot. In this presentation, the fabrication method of the structure using transfer printing is also discussed. |
