Time series analysis of failure rates of equipments for telecommunication networks.

Abstract(in English) The author has been predicted the failure rate of telecommunication network equipments by the state space model. The methods of prediction are distinguished by the pattern of failures. As a result of examination, it is found that the case does not correspond to the author’s proposal or the prediction accuracy is not appropriate. In this article, the author propose a method to improve the prediction as an alternative. Moreover, the example of analysis using actual outage data is also shown.
