| Abstract(in English) | As an application of ad hoc networks, a method of replacing wire harnesses by wireless communication has been studied. In the environment, it is required to select an eligible forwarding path at that moment since each link quality is varied by various factors such as interferences. As one of the solution to the issue, backoff-based opportunistic routing protocols that make a forwarding decision based on backoff time have been proposed. However, they need to set an appropriate backoff parameter for selecting forwarders effectively. To solve this problem, the adaptive parameter control based on re-receiving packets. However, the conventional method causes unnecessary forwarding because it may underestimate the backoff parameter. In this paper, we propose an adaptive parameter control method based on random values when forwarding packets. |
