Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Negawatt trading, which means trading of electric power saved by consumers, is expected to suppress peak power consumption and increase the utilization efficiency of power generation facilities. However, negawatt power is unstable because it relies on consumers' behavior. Unstable negawatt power can be a factor that lowers power quality for a power system required to maintain a strict supply and demand balance. This paper presents formulation as an optimization problem of power saving requests from an aggregator, which is an intermediary operator, to each consumer in order to reduce the instability of negawatt power. Furthermore, simulation has been carried out for the case of requesting optimal amount of power saving, and the case of requesting equal amount of power saving to all customers. The simulation results have shown that the optimal power saving request is more effective to reduce the instability of negawatt power than the equal power saving request in market with a specific tendency.
