The study on propagation characteristic of the propagation type surface plasmon in the Double-layer Wire Grid Structure.

Abstract(in English) Wire Grid structure is the structure that various application is expected. The application such as a light polarizer and a wave plate, light, the light absorber thought about. In this study, the double layer wire grid structure using Ag is manufactured and confirm about period and incident angle dependence. The angle of the peak agreed with transmittance mapping from the RCWA method and surface plasmon excitation curve, the peak depended on surface plasmon was confirmed. A propagation direction of SPP was showed, the magnetic field distribution in the peak was confirmed. The spectrum analysis about the double layer WG structure using Au and Ag was performed and the condition that accorded with the experiment was found.
