Abstract(in English) | For the simplification of the mobile base stations architecture, we have presented remote beamforming of array antenna integrated with photodiode by radio-over-fiber (RoF) technique. We have So far demonstrated antenna beamforming by RoF technique utilizing 1.55 $micro$m band tunable laser sources and fiber chromatic dispersion. In this paper firstly, we experimentally demonstrated 60 GHz antenna beamforming of integrated photonic array antenna utilizing variable optical delay lines with the aim of simplification of RoF signal generation for beamforming at a control site. Next, we demonstrated 60 GHz band 10 Gbps class digital signal transmission with beamforming using arrayed compact antenna modules. Finally we demonstrated the 40 GHz-RoF signal generation utilizing 1.3 $micro$m band electroabsorption modulator integrated DFB-LD and optical tunable filter, then formed various beam patterns utilizing variable optical delay lines and variable optical attenuators. |
