Abstract(in English) | From the lessons learned from the Great East Japan Earthquake, a lot of research on improving communication disaster recovery has been conducted. As a consequence, the interruption of communication system in Kumamoto earthquake was greatly reduced. Needless to say, the further research on communication disaster recovery and social implementation in early-stage is required to prepare for another severe natural disaster. Herein, we introduce our research on optical network emergency restoration technology: technology utilizing survived optical fibers, the portable optical communication system to replace the damaged function of the original communication system, and the technology to recover the control-plane network of isolated optical node by effectively utilizing the mobile communication that restores rapidly. |
