| Abstract(in English) | Deterministic interleavers are preferred in the constructing of turbo codes due to the ability to peforminterleaving and de-interleaving operations via algorithm. Amongst these, the linear interleaver is the simplest todesign but it performs poorly at high SNR values. In this paper, we introduce a new interleaver design which isbased of changing the angular coefficient of the linear interleaver by a constant for every position shift. A limitedsearch is performed to find good interleavers. The decoding performance of the new interleaver is better than thelinear interleaver for medium and long frame sizes. |
