Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Conventional convolutional spreading code division multiple access (CS-CDMA) provides inter-channel interference-free (ICI-free) transmission. However, the convolutional spreading involves high computational complexity and high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). To mitigate such drawback, we propose the use of binary Z-connectable complete complementary codes (Z-CCC) and implement convolutional spreading based on fast Walsh Hadamard transform (FWHT). Simulation results shown that the proposed system achieves low complexity while its performance is the same with the traditional CS-CDMA. We also compared the robustness against clipping noise with that of CS-CDMA with modified M-sequence (MM) and shown that the proposed system has a trade-off relationship between complexity and clipping resistance. Furthermore, computer simulation shows that, in fast fading environment, binary Z-CCC provide better bit error rate (BER) than polyphase Z-CCC and MM. |
