Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) CAN (Controller Area Network) is employed widely as in-vehicle network protocol. Since the protocol is employed in a situation which emphasizes on safety, a communication system which is strong against noises and several error-detection-mechanisms are equipped with the protocol. However, an adversary falsifies and spoofs with exploiting an error controlling of CAN. When we consider countermeasures against such existing threats and new vulnerable, a grasping the reaction of the error controlling is very important. In this manuscript, we observe channel noise and error occurrence of an experimental car and confirm the reaction of error controlling of CAN protocol by injecting a transient pulse into the bus which consists of some Arduino by using a current injection probe.
