Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The fifth-generation (5G) mobile communication systems introduces Massive MIMO for super high bit rate and large system capacity. Fixed BF and CSI-based precoding, based on analog beamforming (BF) and channel state information (CSI) is proposed for high-SHF (Super High Frequency) Massive MIMO at 6 ~ 30 GHz band, and this method realizes high performance equally likely full digital Massive MIMO. However, account for the vast majority of 5G experimental equipment using for high-SHF Massive MIMO transmission experiment has analog BF only, hasn’t digital precording. Thinking for future total verification test including application service, simulation based on experimental equipment configuration is important, and evaluates condition of high-throughput and coverage are needed. In this paper, evaluates the 28 GHz downlink Massive MIMO Transmission throughput when analog BF applies to transmitter, and MMSE (Minimum Mean Square Error) applies to receiver. Computer link-level simulations clarify that condition of system throughput over 10 Gbps based on average received power calculated from radio link budget, and coverage of dependence on number of transmitted stream by using 256-element uniform planar array.
