Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The fifth-generation (5G) mobile communication system introduces Massive MIMO for super high bit rate and large system capacity. In low-SHF-band, fully digital Massive MIMO has been studied. A joint processing of digital fixed BF and channel state information (CSI)-based precoding (digital FBCP) is proposed as one of fully digital methods. Although algorithm of the digital FBCP has been studied to achieve higher throughput, when we consider possibility of baseband processing units, simpler transmitter configurations should be studied in order to contribute to launch early 5G system integrated verification which includes applications and services. This paper compares the digital FBCP and space division multiplexing by using MMSE without user orthogonalization. Computer simulations show that system throughput of these schemes and a coverage based on average received power calculated from radio link budget using 5G system which assumes that base station has 128 antenna elements in 4.5 GHz band with 100 MHz bandwidth in urban micro environment.
